The Challenge

UNC Pembroke needed to streamline its digital design operations by consolidating over 50 independent Canva accounts into a single, university-wide Canva Enterprise solution. The goal: create a branded, scalable platform for 150 faculty and staff—and up to 10,000 students—to produce presentations, promotional materials, assignments, and social content while preserving brand consistency and governance.

Our Solution

Blueprint Consulting Group was brought in to lead the $40,000 enterprise implementation, collaborating with:

University IT and the Communications & Marketing team
The Canva development team
Departmental stakeholders across the institution and senior leadership

Key project responsibilities included:

Designing a centralized Canva Enterprise environment
Integrating UNCP brand standards into the platform
Securing the university domain to support seamless user migration
Communicating project goals and transition plans to Canva users
Preparing for single sign-on (SSO), governance policies, and role-based brand templates
Coordinating training sessions for all Enterprise Admins, Brand Admins and end users

UNCP domain secured for efficient and secure user onboarding
